The Lost Kingdom, is an area first seen in Monster Hunter Z. The Lost Kingdom Peak is another area located at the very pinnacle of the kingdom's tower, which is first seen in Monster Hunter Z Ultimate.

Description

The Lost Kingdom is an isolated place of ruin and despair, once known as the Kingdom of Magura. It is now in a state of devastation, after being attacked by a mysterious dragon. Monsters have now taken refuge here, away from most of the towns, although the Guild Knights and Hunters come to check on the kingdom every so often - silencing any, out-of-control threat. The Lost Kingdom is home to a variety of monsters; from Ioprey to Ascended Teostra. At the centre of the Kingdom, there is a gigantic watchtower. No one has ever reached the top, let alone come back if they made an attempt. The tower is so tall that it has been said that the part of the tower that is visible to the human eye does not even consist of a third of the entire height - most of the tower is shrouded in thick, black clouds - that strangely, don't ever bring rain.

Something must be up there.....

Environment Summary

The base camp is located outside of the Kingdom, where the parched golden sand sits on the ground. There are no mining, fishing or bug catching spots anywhere. Some monster carcasses are also present here, including that of a Pink Rathian, and a Tigrex. These carcasses can be gathered for items.

Area 1 is the main Kingdom, where crumbled buildings and dead monsters lie almost everywhere. A few Aptonoth and Rathalos carcasses, which can be gathered for items like Monster Bones and Rathalos Plates, can also be seen. These carcasses are armoured; evidence that the knights of the kingdom used them to fight the mysterious attacker. The bodies of the fallen knights are scattered all over the place. There are also tattered shops that lie across the kingdom, along with destroyed houses; some of which, can be gathered for some items.
