A giant Elder Dragon somewhat similar to Lao Shan Lung. Gyo Roi has little regard for anything around it and will smash anything in its path.
|
Physiology[]
Gyo Roi is similar in shape to Lao Shan Lung, but a bit smaller. It has a triangular frill with large spikes at the end of each point. It possesses very large, sharp teeth and has a bit of an underbite. Its scales are a golden color, while the spikes across its body and its claws are a red color. Its tail has an end similar to a large pick axe.
Ecology[]
Much of Gyo Roi's behavior is a mystery, but they roam over quite large distances. It is sometimes sighted with its mate, Gyo Reine.
Abilities[]
Gyo Roi focuses on many physical attacks. It'll bite with its large mouth, and swing its pick axe-like tail. It can also slam onto the ground, causing a huge tremor. Gyo Roi will change up some of its attacks depending on if the hunter is on a platform where it can stand straight up. Gyo Roi can also fire huge elemental blasts that spread smaller elemental projectiles outward that can cross the whole area. The monster can also spit a bunch of dragon projectiles into the air that rain down around it. Gyo Roi can fire off a large, focused elemental beam as well. This takes a bit to charge, and when it fires, the monster's head is pushed back a bit and where the beam first hits, it causes a large elemental blast before Gyo Roi begins to sweep the beam.
