| I wish i had entered Countjoe's art competition. This would have been my flagship monster, mainly because there hasn't been a desert flagship monster in the history of MH.
Suna-en is a pseudowyvern that is found in the Sandy Plains. It is smaller than a Tigrex, but is bulkier and stronger. It's wings have devolved so much that they cannot provide the lift needed to lift the Suna-en off the ground. Because of this, its main way of getting around is climbing cliff faces using its hooked claws and wing spikes. The horns on its head have grown almost completely over its eyes, so it relies partly on smell and partly on ultrasound vibrations, kind of like a bat. The horns, when struck on the growths on its lower jaw, creates a violent exlposion. These explosions seem to have no effect on the Suna-en, so barrel-bombs would have no use on it. It has been seen fighting others of its kind for territory by thowing boulders in front of it using its large, flat tail, and lauching them at the other by causing an explosion behind the boulder. The Suna-en seems to need a high body temperature to digest its food properly, and has been seen sunbathing on the desert. The wings have special glands that when entering rage mode, secrete a highly flammable liquid. Often when in rage mode, the Suna-en will ignite its feet and wings to deal extra fire damage.
