CHAPTER 12 - THE RATHALOS FROM HELL

A few days after the fight between the Twin Tornadoes and me with my sister, I was still a bit hurt but was recovering quickly. Too bad my sister gave me a hug and she was hugging me near the area where the pain was. So, I was bedridden for 1 day. What happened on that day? Well, i won't tell. It's... hard to say it. After that day, I was able to get out of bed and train my hardest. While I was training, halfway done I heard a commotion. The Council called me and told the horrible news: Kira got injured! I brought along Hana and hurried to the ER.

"Kira!?", I shout as I look at Kira, not badly burned but still burned to a certain extent.

"Kira, are you alright!?", I ask.

"I'm... fine... I just... got caught off guard...", she says while lying down on the bed with no energy to move her body.

Hana is concerned for Kira, even though they are rivals trying to get more candy, and asks:

"Who did this to you?"

I interrupt by saying:

"I don't think it's 'who'. I think it's 'what'."

Kira then answers:

"It was the Azure Rathalos. This one tried to take down more of the supplies from one of our villages. He was also under the effect of the virus. But this one was like full virus, I think. It became a darker coloration of blue, its wings grew more spikes, the tail's stinger grew longer, his claws became sharper and fire turned from red to blue. This one... was tough to everything... I tried to hit him with my fire, but he just... ate it. He then threw it back at me with full power. And that's how I became bedridden here."

As Kira finished speaking, a villager barges into the ER.

"Help! The monster is back!", the villager shouts as he collapses from the heat of the fire on his back.

"Let's go!", I shout as everyone except me leaves the room.

"Hold on... I wanna help...", Kira mutters as she tries to get out of bed.

" No Kira, you rest. We'll handle this.", I say as I put Kira down back to lying on the bed.

I then rush out of the room and hurry to where the others are.

"Let's see if we can beat this monstrosity...", I say to myself.
