Template:MonsterInfoboxA species of Flying Wyvern with close relation to Tyrant Lanterak and Tiger Lanterak. The two crests on its head can "clap" together to create a flash or a powerful electric blast simliar to Baleful Gigginox or Khezu.

"A cave-dwelling variant of the Lanterak genus. Can hang onto cave ceilings to attack its prey. Beware it's flash, which can completely blind at close range!"
The Cave Lanterak looks almost identical to the Tiger Lanterak, yet with a slightly less rough skin adapted to the cold Tundra weather. A main difference is the claw pattern on its wings, spread out to grip to the cave ceilings. Its crests are also more prominent.
Notes[]
- The crests can be broken once, the wings punctured and the legplates broken.
- It can create a flash whilst on the ceilings, and an elecrical blast too.
- In G and Ultimate Rank, it can create an electrical field on the ceiling too.
- If you're standing directly infront of it when it creats a flash, the blinding effect is doubled in time.
- It has a pinning move, where it grabs the hunter similar to Rathian, but instead of biting, deals no damage but charges up an electrical beam, then fires it directly in the hunter's face.
