Instead of white it has a sand-colored body that has a perfect camouflage effect. The tail has a red color all over and the underside is red, too. It spits sand to stun its enemies and can summon, like its cousin with snow, a sand barrier that has wind element. It is the first boss monster to drain life like a Giggi with its tail while injecting a poison. Hunters have to roll away from it to get free and to throw it over. The weakness is ice then earth. It feeds of small Neopterons. Because the habitats it lives in have much bigger areas, they don't meet often. That's why they are more social staying together for some days or weeks when two come across each other's way. They have the same tactic to defend themselves as their cousins. Monsters that are able to turn them around are old Tigrex (and Tigrex Subspecies), Barioth Subspecies (with the tornadoes it blows away the sand and leave open a side to grip) and Copper Blangonga (again when food is scarce).
Possible attacks: (post some attacks)
- Sand breath
- The sand barrier
- Sting attack (life draining and poison inflicting)
- The remaining attacks of the normal
I has the same breakable parts like its counterpart of the Tundra. It can't use life draining and poison when the tail is broken.
